Following the success of Cassie’s Landing, Casly Homes approached us for their next ambitious project, Winsor Homes. This development was larger in scale and presented a new set of challenges that required an even more immersive and detailed visual experience to attract and engage potential buyers.
Challenge
Elevating the Presentation: Winsor Homes represented a significant step up for Casly Homes. The project required a comprehensive virtual reality (VR) experience that would not only highlight the architectural beauty of the homes but also provide potential buyers with a realistic sense of the space. The challenge was to create a VR tour that was as close to a real-life walkthrough as possible, while also being user-friendly and accessible.
Solution
From Revit to Realistic VR: Casly Homes provided us with the Revit model, approved floorplans, and detailed drawings for Winsor Homes. Using these resources, we created an accurate 3D model in 3ds Max. This model served as the foundation for the VR tour, ensuring that every detail was meticulously crafted to reflect the vision of the project.
Texturing and Scene Population:
Drawing on our previous experience with Casly Homes, we carefully added textures and populated the scenes to match the aesthetic and functional goals of Winsor Homes. We focused on creating a cohesive environment that would resonate with potential buyers, adding elements that enhanced the realism of the spaces.
Rapid Development and Collaboration:
Within 12 days, we developed a comprehensive draft VR tour that showcased both the interiors and exteriors of Winsor Homes. This draft was presented to the Casly Homes team, and we conducted two collaborative sessions via Google Meet to review and refine the tour. These sessions focused on adjusting fixtures and finishes to meet the exact specifications of the client.
Final Delivery
High-Resolution VR with Interactive Hotspots: After two rounds of revisions, we rendered the final VR tour in 8K resolution, ensuring exceptional clarity and detail. To enhance the user experience, we integrated interactive hotspots that allowed users to easily navigate through the different spaces, making the tour intuitive and engaging.
Seamless Integration for Client Use
We provided Casly Homes with an easily embeddable code for the VR tour, allowing them to integrate it directly into their website. This made the VR experience accessible to potential buyers at the click of a button, providing a powerful tool for showcasing Winsor Homes.
